Abstract:
Abstract In this paper, an approach towards an uniformly most powerful binomial test is presented. It generalizes the well-known binomial test in that way that it is an uniformly most powerful size- $$\alpha $$ α test with $$\alpha $$ α the significance level. An illustrative statistical example both clarifies the theoretical approach towards such a test and shows the usefulness of our approach in quality management.
