Exploring Identity: Perspectives from the Shop Floor

International Journal of Public Administration, 2008, vol. 31, issue 9, 1127-1137
Abstract:
The world of practice is overwhelmingly represented in academic journals through the eyes of the researcher. Absent, for the most part, is the voice, views and opinions of those who work in organisations about research, and its place in their work lives. In this concluding article two practitioners, and research collaborators, draw upon the articles contained within this special edition to explore their own experience of practice and develop questions on both their own practice and that of researchers.
