Abstract:
A single-commodity network flow model is proposed for analyzing capabilities of a spatially distributed fuel and energy system. The model is based on four-layer digraph that describes production, transmission, and consumption of electrical energy and fossil fuels. The model helps to investigate the consequences of large-scale damages in the fuel and energy systems. A method for distribution of the limited network capacity is suggested. The method is transparent for all consumers and leads to Pareto-optimal distribution of energy resources that is fair under current network capabilities. Possibility of partial recovery of the network after damages is taking into account.
