Stability of linear switched differential algebraic equations with stable and unstable subsystems

Abstract:
This article studies linear switched differential algebraic equations (DAEs), which contains stable and unstable subsystems. We prove sufficient conditions for stability of switched DAEs based on the existence of suitable Lyapunov functions. The result shows that stability is preserved under switching with an average dwell time and an additional condition involving consistency projectors holds. Furthermore, we also give an example to illustrate the result.
