Abstract:
A fixed-time adaptive fault-tolerant control (FTC) problem is studied for switched nonlinear systems with unknown input powers, actuator faults and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks in this article. An event-triggered mechanism (ETM) with DoS detector is first developed for switched systems with unknown input powers to reduce resource consumption and handle DoS attacks. Unlike existing research, which assumes that the input power of switched systems is known and equal to one, this article investigates the general case where the input power is unknown and greater than one. Based on the fixed-time control method, it is proven that, under DoS attacks, the tracking error of the system converges to a small neighbourhood of the origin within a fixed-time. Finally, the effectiveness of the control strategy is verified by means of a numerical example.
