Culture and traditions as factors that lead to crime and grave violation of fundamental human rights

Abstract: Unfortunately, social and deviant crime is a scourge of modern society as it is developing extremely rapidly. Crime has reached alarming levels due to advanced technologies and methods of prevention must be constantly improved and adapted to its level. Both deviance and crime make their presence felt in a negative way in most modern societies. Instead, a good legal regulation on these issues would continue to rein in perpetuating anti-social phenomena, namely the stagnation of certain categories of criminal events. Unfortunately, history itself confirms that such practices in the name of culture and tradition, citing religious beliefs have existed from the times of Antiquity, enduring for centuries, especially in rural areas, but later due to the migration of population it has spread to urban areas, but not with the same intensity. Thus, unfortunately, under pressure from the social environment and traditions are encouraged manifestation, maintenance and preservation of generations in generations.
