Wayne Bishop: An Unsung Hero; An Iron Man

Ling Huang ()

Nonpartisan Education Review, 2024, vol. 20, issue 1, 1-24

Abstract: Wayne Bishop had been a leader and warrior in the "math wars" from the 1990s onwards. A severe bike accident in 2007 left him disabled, but Bishop continued to write about K-12 math education using voice-typing tools, taught at CSU Los Angeles, and actively participated in educational discussions toward the end of his life. He was an unsung hero, an iron man.
