Abstract: Attempt has been made to suggest a new model for creation of a poor’s bank through which poverty can be reduced. Literature review of poverty reduction, self-help groups, donors’ studies and community participation, Zidisha organizations, Grameen Bank Model, and Philanthropists shows that people were helping each other in groups themselves, through philanthropists and donors. Lending through banks and micro financing are the recent concepts. These self-help activities and recent concepts of micro financing are tools which are helping a lot, but organizing these activities properly and transparently is somewhat difficult to encourage this activity at maximum level. Conclusion drawn from literature is that, to overcome the difficulty in transparency needed a new thought and brainstorming. A new model has been developed to overcome the difficulty in handling the activities at cost efficiency and transparently to motivate donors, philanthropists and community to participate at maximum level. Applying this model a poor’s bank will come into existence after the observing the successful activities of this model which will motivate global attention towards this system and reduce poverty. As Pakistan is on first number in philanthropy and Pakistani people will participate in this system along with international donors.
