Abstract:
kmlmap produces a Keyhole Markup Language file by using Stata data and geographical coordinates. This file produces a map when uploaded to Google Maps. The resulting map is a so-called choropleth or thematic map, where units of analysis are colored according to values of a variable. You can click on units of analysis on the map to display more information, to zoom, and to do all other things that Google Maps can do. The units of analysis can be points or polygons.
