The development of the innovative business in the largest city. Yekaterinburg experience

Abstract: This article is devoted to the analyses of essential problems and tendencies in the development of the innovation activity in Yekaterinburg. The particular attention is paid to the leading role of small-scale innovative and active enterprises and infrastructure organizations (such as technoparks, innovative and technological centers). The research contains practice of realization of the strategic project "Yekaterinburg as the centre of the innovative activity and innovative services" and the role of local authority in the support of the small-scale innovative business. The priority spheres in innovation field of the largest city economy are determined in the article.
