Abstract: In paper features of systematic development of branch of animal industries within the limits of realization of the priority national project "Development of agrarian and industrial complex" are considered. The first results of development of branch of meat cattle breeding in priority directions on an example of functioning of managing subjects of the Rostov area are generalized.
