Abstract: Problems of development of raw orientation northern regions which serve as mineral and raw materials source, currency receipts allowing to ensure growth and stability to economic system of the country in market conditions are considered in the clause. Particular features of their functioning concerned with specificity natural and resource potential and unvaried economy are noted.
