Abstract: Basic environmental consequences of railway construction planned by the project “Ural Industrial – Ural Polar†have been considered in the paper. The authors consider the territory of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, which is based on the materials of the 20-year period of researches and comparison to the already functioning similar objects in the region under investigation.
