Abstract: The author been guided by analytical data on the drugs market, the level of development of domestic pharmaceutical industry and a share of the Russian market occupied with it, justifies the need for creation of the pharmaceutical cluster in the Sverdlovsk region, as a mechanism of accessibility maintenance of vital and essential medicines for population and a source of economic growth in the region.
