Abstract: One of the highest priorities of Russia's transformation to post-industrial development is updating the mineral resource sector of the economy as it is considered as a system-generating industry, and includes exploration, extraction, refining, transportation and processing of minerals. The main directions of modernization in the field of bowels use is improvement of methods and technologies at the stage of geological prospecting, as well as automation and computerization of work and equipment at the stages of production and transportation of minerals, using nanotechnology in equipment and technologies at the stage of enrichment and processing mineral raw materials.
