Role of modernization in maintenance of a sustainable development of economy of region

Abstract: Necessity of modernization of economy and society are considered. Kinds, types and sources of financing of modernization of economy are investigated. Five priority directions of modernization of economy are considered. The mechanism of process of modernization is developed. On the basis of results of research the potential of a sustainable development of economy of region in XXI century is presented.
