Abstract:
Risk management is an essential part of the management process of agricultural holdings in order to reduce the negative consequences of its eventual occurrence. For this reason, a number of mechanisms are implemented to preserve agricultural income for ensuring the normal production and good economic results. One of the most common risk minimization approaches is through diversification of production. The purpose of the publication is to popose an analysis of risk management in the agricultural sector by applying diversification , the results are based on theoretical part, methodological and analysis of data from own research in the field of risk management.
