Abstract: This article aims to review the present EU regulation regarding natural gas markets and to see steps which have been made towards regulation of a UE common market of natural gas. Consequences of liberalization of price will be reviewed and lack of supply caused by Ukrainian – Russian War. The paper is also analyzing the different stages of the liberalization processes of the Gas Market and the benefits brought to the final consumers and to the industry.
