Abstract: Agile project management has achieved significant appeal due to its adaptability, iterative methodology, and capacity to provide rapid value delivery. However, its implementation in large organizations presents unique challenges that can hinder its effectiveness. This article examines the principal hurdles encountered by large enterprises in implementing Agile techniques and suggests pragmatic strategies to address these issues. Key issues include cultural resistance, organizational inertia, and the complexity of coordinating multiple teams and large-scale projects. The paper examines strategies for fostering an Agile-friendly culture, such as leadership support, comprehensive training programs, and the promotion of Agile values across all organizational levels. Furthermore, it examines the application of frameworks such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Release Trains to improve collaboration and communication throughout extensive teams. The document emphasizes the advantages and difficulties of hybrid methodologies that integrate Agile with conventional project management techniques. The article offers insights into best practices and lessons learned from case studies of big firms that have effectively embraced Agile. Finally, it covers key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the effectiveness of Agile projects and discusses emerging trends that may determine the future of Agile project management in large businesses. This paper attempts to offer a thorough guide for large organizations looking to take advantage of Agile approaches while navigating the hurdles of large-scale project management by addressing these issues and providing workable answers.
