Abstract: Die Investitionskonjunktur ist abgeebbt. Nach einem Jahrzehnt steigender Investitionsquote zeigt die Herbstbefragung des WIFO für den in der Befragung erfaßten Bereich (Industrie, Bauwirtschaft, Elektrizitätswirtschaft sowie Sondergesellschaften) reduzierte Investitionspläne für 1992 und ein noch niedrigeres Investitionsvolumen für 1993. Die Investitionen der Gesamtwirtschaft (einschließlich der im Investitionstest nicht erfaßten Bereiche) werden real noch immer wachsen, 1992 um 2,3%, 1993 um nur noch 0,6%, schwächer als die gesamte Wirtschaftsleistung. Am optimistischsten sind die Pläne der Elektrizitätswirtschaft (hier stiegen die Investitionen auch schon 1992) und der Verkehrs- und Versorgungsbetriebe. Die Bauwirtschaft will nominell gleich viel ausgeben wie im Vorjahr, die Industrieinvestitionen werden nominell um 11% sinken.
