Abstract:
This article discusses the degrees offered and important elements of agribusiness education programs in New Zealand. Ross describes historical success of the Valuation and Farm Management Diploma (VFM) previously offered at Lincoln and the current programs at Lincoln and Massey. This article also presents a provocative discussion of the needs of agricultural education at the bachelors and post graduate levels. Ross presents the concept of the use of technology as an important unique aspect of agribusiness education.
