Abstract:
This article outlines the Australian government's commitment to agribusiness education. It presents a summary of recent activities of the Minister of Employment, Education, and Training. The Australian government is committed to achieving far reaching reforms in the organization and practice of the higher education system. Industry is encouraged to become more involved in the national training system and to be more involved in research and development activities. Hickey states that dynamic and innovative action within industry and the education system is essential.
