Abstract:
The performance of Cray T3D and some other processors was measured with FORTRAN programs for two kinds of statistical mechanical simulation. One is the Monte Carlo simulation of ferromagnetic Ising model on square and cubic lattices with up to1010updates per second. The other is the molecular dynamics simulation for two-dimensional elastic disk system.
