Abstract:
In this paper the small relativistic correction for the energy eigenvalues of the two- and three-dimensional anisotropic quantum harmonic oscillator are calculated, using as eigenstates$|\psi \rangle =\sum_{n_1 n_2 n_3 =0}^\infty \xi_{n_1 n_2 n_3} | n_1 n_2 n_3\rangle$, for different values of the relativistic parametersβi≡ ħwi/ m0c2withi = 1, 2 and 3.
