Abstract:
The "patch method" of Stuart Kauffman to find the approximative groundstate of a Kauffman-type model is improved by a final optimization and also modified to the groundstate of a±JEdwards–Anderson spin glass. The method improves simple algorithms and is easily rewritten to other applications.
