Abstract: We consider the Hamilton operator$\hat H (\epsilon) =\hat H_0 +\epsilon \hat V$. We assume that$\hat H (\epsilon)$has a discrete spectrum. We show that the energy eigenvalues and eigenvectors obey an autonomous system of ordinary differential equations. An implementation of this system of differential equations is given using SymbolicC++.
