Abstract: Recently, we have extended our "unified" model of evolutionary ecology to incorporate thespatial inhomogeneitiesof the ecosystem and themigrationof individual organisms from one patch to another within the same ecosystem. In this paper, an extension of our recent model is investigated so as to describe themigrationandspeciationin a more realistic way.
