Abstract: Economic policy agenda for BavariaRapid technological change and the digital transformation are fundamentally changing the business world and how we work. Finally, globalisation and new geopolitical challenges are also creating new critical (raw material) dependencies. Industries and regions that are particularly affected by these challenges will undergo major structural change and will have to make particularly great efforts to successfully adapt to the changes. Prudent policy should support them in these adjustments so that as many people as possible benefit from the new developments and circumstances. The project provides a brief assessment of the extent to which Bavaria is affected by the challenges and develops an economic policy agenda on how the various transformations should be accompanied by economic policy to ensure that the Bavarian economy has a stable, sustainable foundation.
