Abstract:
We review evidence about teleworking before and after the Covid-19. The incidence of teleworking varies a lot across countries, depending on infrastructure facilities, management culture, as well as regulations governing working time arrangements. The massive switch to teleworking during lockdowns, in particular among highly educated workers, has profoundly reshaped working time arrangements. How is this “new normal” likely to impact workers’ well-being and productivity?
