Abstract:
This chapter explores the military-industrial complex, which refers to the relationship between private defense contractors and public officials. The chapter discusses the origins of the military-industrial complex and how public choice insights illuminate the relationship between private and public actors. The conclusion discusses some implications of the public choice analysis of the military-industrial complex.
