Emil Velinov
Chapter 22 in Research Handbook on Global Diversity Management, 2025, pp 319-330 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
The proposed chapter aims to explore the intricacies of global diversity management in the automotive industry from an Eastern European perspective. Eastern Europe, with its unique history, cultural diversity, and institutional factors, offers a rich context for investigating how global diversity management practices are adapted, implemented, and evolved. The chapter draws upon a literature review, case studies, and theoretical frameworks to present a nuanced understanding of the phenomena of diversity management within the Eastern European region. This chapter proposes a focus on exploration of diversity management in the Eastern European automotive industry. It will be of interest to scholars, industry practitioners, and policymakers aiming to understand or implement effective diversity management practices in similar contexts.
