Leigh Graves Wolf
Chapter 25 in How to Use Digital Learning with Confidence and Creativity, 2024, pp 211-217 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This chapter will provide a brief overview of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they may impact your day-to-day work and the implementation of technology-enhanced learning initiatives. The chapter begins with an overview of the SDGs, then moves on to share some benefits and challenges. Creative “thinking tools” will be shared along with key competencies for achieving the SDGs. Finally, resources and parting advice will be offered for consideration. This chapter aims to lay a foundation for those new to the SDGs, while providing ideas for further implementation and theoretical connections for those already engaged in the discussion space.
