Leadership education's role in development, inflection, and amplification: a call to action

Anne Mosle

Chapter 10 in Handbook on Leadership Education and Impact, 2025, pp 132-138 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: This call-to-action chapter offers an applied synthesis of what it means to engage in leadership education for impact through the lens of Ascend at the Aspen Institute. Ascend is a catalyst and convener for diverse leaders working across systems and sectors to build intergenerational family prosperity and well-being by intentionally focusing on children and the adults in their lives together. This chapter invites readers to consider an approach to leadership education grounded in abundance and co-creation of systemic opportunity. It also offers seven recommendations for shaping the future of leadership education and impact.
