Virtual leadership education

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic compelled educators and learners within and beyond pre- and post-secondary classrooms to examine the legitimacy and impact of virtual education. Indeed, the pandemic revealed the benefits and challenges of virtual education writ large––including leadership education (Greenhaw et al., 2023; McCarron & Yamanaka, 2022). We explore key themes in the virtual leadership education literature, to include positive impacts and gaps, and propose pathways forward to advance access and quality for virtual leadership education.
