Chapter 64 in Elgar Concise Encyclopedia of Neuroscience and Management, 2026, pp 228-231 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Understanding voters’ behaviors has always been considered a highly complex task for which traditional research approaches may not always be effective. Hence, researchers and political parties are now relying on a new scientific method called neuromarketing, which deciphers both implicit and explicit attitudes of voters. Such research is made possible by utilizing traditional neuroscientific technology or online translated versions of these tools whose accuracy constantly rises as a result of endless technological innovations. By taking all factors into consideration, this entry attempts to capture the history, usage, ethical, and general essence of neuromarketing as a rising research methodology.
