Abstract: Transformational leadership and neuroscience research offer a wealth of insights into organizational processes where the leader and the member experience an enhanced communicative, sharing, caring, and trusted relationship, which in turn affects the team's potency and overall performance. The emergence of transformational leadership varies among different social contexts, coinciding with neuro studies which report that the effect of the prefrontal cortex amygdala on trust-based decision-making and human interconnectivity also varies according to the social orientation to others. It is therefore important that the leader–member connections are examined on a neural basis, reinforcing the design of leadership pathways around human social life.
