Abstract: The objective of this research is to contribute to this discussion by analyzing the degree of financial development and financial inclusion of some countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, and its relationship to economic growth, specifically analyzing the cases of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela; in contrast to the cases of Barbados and The Bahamas, which are distinguished by their financial, touristic, and offshore services.
