Abstract:
The importance of growth and economic development is a topic of permanent interest in all countries of the world. The field of economic research has a particular interest in studying and analyzing the lack of growth and economic inequality of the undeveloped countries and the developing countries, as well as the ways to achieve their sustained development. These topics become relevant in Latin American countries, Eastern European countries, Central-West Africa, South Asia, among others; This relevance is given in the different areas of discussion, both in the academic, government and private sector. The book "Paths for growth in undeveloped countries" makes an excellent contribution to this type of research, answering several questions such as: what are the mechanisms of economic growth in undeveloped countries? Why is there inequality in the distribution of income? Are there adequate mechanisms to achieve Optimal Social Welfare? Does technological development and economic and social dynamism contribute to better economic growth? What is the impact of Corruption on economic performance?
