Abstract: The new techniques of medically assisted reproduction separate the biological role of fatherhood and motherhood from their social role and also the genetic role of the woman in the process of perpetuating the species from her gestational role. The present paper aims to address those problems of a nature that give rise to incriminations in the field of medically assisted human reproduction. Starting from brief medical explanations, we will constantly ask ourselves whether and which of the practices of modern medicine in the field of human reproduction should be incriminated, and at the same time we propose that in the course of our analysis we should also consider the many sociological and religious implications, with some clarifications regarding the sphere of medical policy and philosophy, in order to try to outline a unitary perspective of what is … right with regard to human medically assisted reproduction.
