Abstract: The issue of the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office is the subject of Article 86 (1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, according to which the Council may set up a European Public Prosecutor’s Office European. The view was expressed that the great novelty of Chapter IV TFEU is Article 86, which introduces the possibility of setting up a European Public Prosecutor’s Office, is starting with Eurojust.
