Chapter 9 in Managementul educaţional în contextul schimbărilor legislative - Educational management in the context of legislative changes (Romanian Version), 2018, vol. 1, pp 53-57 from Editura Lumen, Department of Economics Abstract: In the post revolution Romania education has undergone countless changes, among which: that having to do with the birth of the concept quality in education, the one concerned with the development of the school textbook, etc. Thus, in 2005 the notion of quality in education appears and in the following year the ARACIP is established, an institution meant to assess and authorise the pre university level schools. Another change occurs in the field of curricular instruments, namely, in the sphere of textbooks. They have been subject to various changes starting from the unique textbook to the alternative one and coming to the latest kind: the electronic textbook. Starting from the idea that little things make big things happen it is hoped that each change in education will contribute to the development of a modern society.
