Abstract:
Abstract Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been the subject of much discussion in recent years, and it is hard to find any sizeable company that does not try to present its employment practices, environmental behavior, and involvement with the communities in which it operates in a favorable light. Yet the concept of CSR remains problematic for economic theory.
