Abstract: Abstract It is said that the sun never sets on the “Golden Arches.” McDonald’s is the leading global food service retailer with more than 32,000 local restaurants serving more than 58 million people in 118 countries each day. In the United Kingdom there are around 1,200 restaurants, employing over 72,000 employees, of which around 650 are operated by the franchises.
