Chapter 9 in Boundaryless Careers and Occupational Well-being, 2011, pp 121-131 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Immune and neuroendocrine systems have been shown to exert integrated responses to environmental signals (Kempuraj et al., 2004; Di Giannantonio et al., 2005; Boscolo et al., 2008). In particular, environmental stimulation may affect the activity of cytokines, peptide hormones, neurotransmitters and receptors, localized in both the immune and the nervous systems.
