Chapter Chapter 2 in Brands & Gaming, 2006, pp 11-25 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Watching the giant screen at the IMAX cinema at the London Science Museum feels like gazing through the transparent side of a spaceship onto a parallel universe. The setting on the screen is somehow earthly, with recognizably human figures in World War II vintage uniforms making their way through a war-blasted landscape, but the sheer scale and intensity and vibrancy of the action is definitely out of this world.
