The insights of great leaders

Franz Bailom, Kurt Matzler and Dieter Tschemernjak

Chapter 11 in Enduring Success, 2007, pp 151-184 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Nestlé sells a billion products a day, has over 130,000 different products, over 250,000 employees, production plants or branches in almost every country on earth, an annual turnover of SF91bn, and an EBITDA of over $11bn (2005) — dimensions that impressed us when we were preparing for our conversation with Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, CEO of Nestlé since 1997. The conversation itself would turn out to be at least as impressive.
