Chapter 2 in Enduring Success, 2007, pp 7-21 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The starting point for the first analysis of over 370 companies from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland was Richard D’Aveni’s1 ideas on the topic of “hypercompetition.” Essentially, we wanted to find out whether and to what extent the “hypercompetition” predicted by Richard D’Aveni had already become a reality and how companies generally react to it.
