Chapter Chapter 12 in International Turnaround Management, 1999, pp 313-325 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract When the turnaround started, Adas Copco’s Mining and Construction division was the undisputed world leader for many types of rock-drilling equipment used in mines and construction work. The division employed 2,500 individuals and had factories in several parts of the world. Still, the MCT division showed an unacceptably low profitability. Sales grew slowly. So did the overall market.
