Abstract:
Abstract The regulatory dimension is an important component of the environment within which business firms operate. In this chapter we look at the three aspects of the institutional environment in China: the regulatory, the normative and the cognitive aspects. In particular a comprehensive elaborations of the normative and regulatory aspects are presented and discussed. The Chinese holistic approach and the dynamic economy are emphasized as a key to understanding Chinese negotiating behavior.
