Wealth Management, Banking Contracts and Lasting Customer Relationships
Dimitris N. Chorafas
Chapter 10 in The Commercial Banking Handbook, 1999, pp 240-264 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Chapter 6 brought to the reader’s attention the nature of the marketing functions necessary to put into effect a banking strategy. It defined the sense of marketing in retail banking and outlined the common features which characterize market planning in different financial institutions. Chapter 7 extended this discussion into relationship banking, emphasizing the sales aspects and outlining the steps which are necessary to obtain a mirror of the activities the client has with the bank, and an estimate of the resulting profit and loss in the client relationship.
